Who we are
Home : Who are We?

Inspire, the Foundation for Inclusion, is the creation of two leading NGOs working in the disability sector in Malta. The Eden Foundation and the Razzett tal-Hbiberija have recently joined forces to help over 1000 children and adults with learning and physical disabilities across their 5 centres in Malta and Gozo.

The Services and Programmes address the educational, therapeutic, social and recreational needs of the people we help, with a focus on ability and potential. Our vision is to see complete inclusion of people with disabilities living in the community, in schools, the workplace and in recreation. Through our range of services, most of which are free or at minimal charge, we aim to understand the needs of the individual and maximize participation and quality of life in everyone.

We aim to work closely with the families, carers, the state, other NGOs and the community, together adding value to civil society. Our vision extends into the community we serve, where we promote equal opportunities and inclusion in every way possible.

We pride ourselves in a high quality service with an efficient management system and low administrative cost; however without the public’s commitment for support, we would not survive. As an organization, we depend on voluntary giving.

As an organization, we offer a range of services that focus on the individual’s needs and potential. Our employees and volunteers are highly trained and experienced, sharing knowledge across our teams to ensure that our approach is truly multi-disciplinary. Our state-of-the-art facilities compliment the programmes and services to ensure that people with disabilities have access to professional care, advice, training and therapy. In this way, we can support individuals, their families and the community by increasing independence and inclusion.

As one of the leading NGOs in Malta, we aim to play an active role in civil society, and strengthen the voice of the people we help. Our innovation, success stories and best practice are an example to others on how people, of any ability, can achieve their fullest potential. It is up to all of us to level the playing field and encourage equal opportunities in all aspects of life. With the support of government, the business community and the public, we will continue to provide a meaningful service to people with disabilities and their families through every stage of their lives.
