Inspire's range of services now in operation over 6 facilities - 28/05/2009

Inspire has renamed the 6 facilities into the Education and Training Centre in Bulebel, the Therapeutic and Leisure Centre in Marsaskala, Inspire Gozo and the three services within the communities of Luqa, Valletta and Marsaskala. With well over 1000 people using the services either free of charge or at heavily subsidised costs, the creation of Inspire has meant that beneficiaries can now access a greater range of services and programmes without any increase in cost (if any) to them. Individuals with a disability, as well as other organisations that support people with disabilities can continue to use the facilities the therapeutic and leisure facilities in Marsaskala (previously the Razzett tal-Hbiberija) free of charge for most services. The cost of the tailor made education and training programmes previously offered at the Eden Foundation remain at a very low cost to the parents due to the largely subsidised fees by Inspire. The main advantage of this joining of forces can be clearly seen by the increase in sharing of employees, knowledge, facilities and services. Programmes are now more extensive, and the beneficiaries have access to a wider range of services as part of their holistic programme under one common set of goals and 'schools of thought'.
